Our own content
All articles on gigbitpro are written by the gigbitpro team for this site. Where we use images, screenshots or other material from third parties, we do so under a licence or on a fair-use basis, for example to illustrate a guide. If you believe any material on gigbitpro infringes your copyright, please let us know using the process below and we will act promptly.
Filing a DMCA takedown notice
If you are a copyright owner, or authorised to act on behalf of one, and you believe material on gigbitpro infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to admin@gigbitpro.com containing:
- Your full name, mailing address, telephone number and email address;
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or a representative list if several works are involved;
- Identification of the material on gigbitpro that you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to find it (for example the page URL);
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner;
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We may ask for further information to verify your claim. Incomplete notices may delay our response. Upon receiving a valid notice, we will remove or disable access to the material in question and may notify the person who posted it.
Counter-notice
If material you posted on gigbitpro (for example a comment) was removed following a DMCA notice and you believe the removal was a mistake, you may send us a counter-notice at admin@gigbitpro.com containing:
- Your full name, mailing address, telephone number and email address;
- Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal;
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification;
- Your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in your location, and to accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice;
- Your physical or electronic signature.
On receiving a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material unless the original complainant notifies us that they have filed a court action to restrain the allegedly infringing activity.
Repeat infringers
We may, in appropriate circumstances, remove content and disable or close the accounts of users who repeatedly post infringing material.
